1. Installation of CST Studio Suite
===================================

To install CST Studio Suite, launch:

	setup.exe 
	
This process will also install IdEM, SPARK3D and FEST3D tools, which were 
previously distributed as separate installations.

Note that Opera is shipped via a separate installer located in the Opera 
subfolder.

1.1 Installation from DVDs 
---------------------------

Please note that the CST Studio Suite installer is designed to be 
installed from 2 physical DVDs. 

If you are installing CST Studio Suite by mounting ISO images, please 
start with mounting the first DVD which contains setup.exe. Half-way 
through the installation, you will be asked to insert the next disk. 
Please unmount/eject the current ISO image and mount the ISO image of the 
second DVD. The second ISO image must be mounted under the same drive 
letter as the first one in order for the installation process to 
continue.

1.2 Installation from a fixed drive
-----------------------------------

If you are installing from a fixed drive (or network location), please 
make sure that the content of the 2 DVDs is merged into one directory. 
The electronic download archive should already have the content merged.  
If in doubt, please verify that Data12.cab and Data2.cab are in the same 
directory with setup.exe.


1.3 Optional installation of MATLAB runtime
--------------------------------------------

MATLAB runtime is required for IdEM and FEST3D. During the installation 
of CST Studio Suite, this redistributable will be offered as an optional 
prerequisite. If accepted, it will be installed on your C: drive, taking 
approximately 3.5 GB of the disk space. If you do not plan to use IdEM or 
FEST3D tools, you can skip the installation of MATLAB runtime. 


2. Installation of Opera
========================

To install Opera, navigate to the Opera folder and launch:

Opera.msi

If you are installing from individual DVDs, this folder is located on the 
third disk of the CST Studio Suite media set.
